Team productivity can be accessed by knowing your team well. Firstly, I would say to know their strengths and weakness which will give the team leader or a manager to discover the talents of each team member and allocate certain task where the respective team member can exile. Team leader can access the team productivity by setting the timelines for each member and watch their progress. Effectiveness and Efficiency are the primary ways of accessing the team productivity. Efficiency is the measure of level of performance and the effort put in to complete the assigned work or a task.
What conditions need to be in place for teams to excel and why?
For any team to be successful. There should be a successful leader who can drive the whole team in a success path. In order to drive the team and make them exile in their roles, team leader plays a prominent role. He should always back the team members and always motivate them and back their abilities. He should be working along with them and clear any obstacles if team leader does all these, then every member of the team will be excelling themselves and stretch their working hours to not let down their team leader or project manager.
