As a future professional in public administration, I plan to use all the strategies Iâ€™ve learned to bring all the cultures and people from different backgrounds to come together to accomplish short and long-term objectives. In addition, I would bring in new innovative ideas and technology to the organization. I would also develop program to increase the higher education enrollment within the organization. Minorities feel they canâ€™t go back to school because they have to work a full time job because they just donâ€™t have time. Many nations have expanded college enrollment in fields that will yield more workers for science and technology (S&T) jobs (St. John, 2013). St. John (2013) explains there are two mechanisms have been widely used in pursuit of this goal: 1) using higher tuition coupled with increased borrowing to finance expansion, and 2) redefining college and workforce readiness to include some post-secondary education in S&T fields. Both approaches are prone to promote inequality in opportunities for social mobility and can undermine the goals of social uplift and economic development. I feel that the employees with more education and work experience can work well with the organizational goals and objectives. They will have a better understanding of where the organization is now and where they are headed.
